The Americas Group has now come to an end with the USA and MEXICO proving they were the best as the bookies predicted before the group began, it was HONDURAS who secured the last spot in a surprise last day turnaround to the delight of their fans who are now booking their flights to South Africa.
Costa Rica looked certain for qualification until the last minute of the last match but events traspired agaiinst them and they now find themselves in a play-off with Ururguay who will be the favourites there.
