Oceania Group

The draw for the second round of the Oceania Group has been made. The eight teams which progressed to this stage have been divided into two groups of four:

Group A: Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tahiti

Group B: Fiji, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea

The eight teams will play in a two-group tournament in the 2012 OFC Nations Cup. The four semi-finalists of this tournament will advance through to the third round.

The third round pits four teams against each other in a single group, with both home and away matches. This will take place between 7th September 2012 and 26th March 2013. The winner this round will compete in a two-legged play-off against a team from Americas Group for the right to play in the 2014 World Cup Finals
