The current FIFA world rankings are dominated by European teams, who fill the top three spaces. The defending World Cup and European holders Spain currently lead the way, followed by Netherlands and Germany, with all three teams excelling in qualification for Euro 2012. The Copa America winners Uruguay are fourth while England are fifth, with the five time World Champions Brazil in sixth.
