World Cup 2010 Results - Day 5

Group G took centre stage in South Africa on day 5 with the Brazilians the star attractions as they faced off against the plucky North Koreans. The Five times champions were expected to rack up a cricket score but in truth they were poor in a 2-1 victory, it was an average display by Brazil but they got the three points needed so have to be pleased. In the other game which looked a cracker on paper, there was a stalemate between Ivory Coast and Portugal with both teams scared of losing.

Meanwhile the early kick-off saw a last gasp equaliser for New Zealand against Slovakia in what was a great point for the All Whites in Rustenberg.
