World Cup 2010 Results - Day 19

Day 19 of the 2010 World Cup has seen the last two second round games take place and we are now full steam ahead for the Quarter-Finals, Paraguay met Japan in the first game of the day at Loftus Versfeld and it was an intriguing contest. It was a tight affair with both sides afraid of losing, in the end Paraguay came through on penalties to book their spot in the last eight.

Over in Cape Town we saw Spain taking on Portugal in an Iberian Derby and as expected it was the Spanish who came through, Portugal sat back and showed little ambition and are on the first plane home while Spain move onto play Paraguay.
