World Cup Results 2010 - Day 14

This was a big day in South Africa as defending World Champions Italy were knocked out at the group stages in a huge upset, they lost to a very average Slovakia side to finish bottom of Group F. The Slovaks were joined by Paraguay who won the group and will now move into the last 16 full of confidence after going unbeaten in the section.

In Group E we saw a win by Japan over the Denmark too confirm their place alongside the Netherlands as the top two, Japan were highly impressive against the Danes and will be difficult for any side to beat.
